About the event
The Fairfield Republican Town Committee (RTC) will host the Fairfield, Freedom & Foliage Dinner & Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, September 30 at Boca Grille & Raw Bar, Fairfield. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are available here. All are welcome.
The RTC will honor four individuals: Al Diguido, a businessman and philanthropist, will receive the Jerry Malafronte Community Service Award; Kathryn Braun and Veronica Monahan, Town Plan & Zoning Commissioners, will receive the Myrtle Miller Republicans of the Year Award; and Sam Cargill, Jr. will receive the Paul Tymniak Young Republican of the Year Award.
Al Diguido
Al Diguido, a long-time Fairfield County resident, owns Saugatuck Sweets and runs the charity Al's Angels, supporting families facing severe hardships. He is also a professional advisor, a father of three, and a grandfather of seven.
